Why use our service?
FOI requests are often refused if you don’t use a real identity to make the request.
Sometimes though, there may be reasons why you don’t want to reveal your identity to the organisation from whom the information is sought.
Whilst information should always be made public in line with the requirements of the FOIA, organisations can try and use exemptions to prevent information becoming public.
Using FOIProxy means that you can get the information you want, without that organisation knowing who you are because we use our real identity to make your request.
This is a legally compliant service for individuals who don’t want their identities revealed as well as professionals who don’t want to alert organisations as to their identities when they are requesting information.
How does our service work?
Complete the submission box below with your details, along with what information you want and from which organisation.
This information will never be shared with that organisation — your anonymity will always be protected.
Once we have received that form, we will make contact by email to confirm the request and send a link for payment via PayPal.
We then make the request to that organisation using our details and once the information has been supplied, we share it with you.
